    Les cÈlÈbrations de 2005 de Cork démarrent dans la ville avec un carnaval international. Vingt-sept scenes, comprenant 180 interprètes du monde entier, apporteront la vie dans les rues avec un air de samba, de tambour de rue et d'avaleurs du feu, des numÈros de cirque et des marionnettistes géants.










    Avec 10 secteurs d'exécution de carnaval individuels placés partout dans Patrick Street, la Grande Parade et l'Allée du Sud, le Carnaval de vCork 2005 sera un spectacle à contempler.









    Venant MaSamba,des reines du carnaval avec plumes, Les Géants de Buí Bolg’s Hillbilly, des dragons du Cirque de la Communauté de Cork - donnant des reprÈsentations dans toute l'Europe seront dans toute la ville pour aider jeune et vieux de la même façon à célébrer Cork 2005.

    La Loterie nationale animera la Cérémonie et le Feu d'artifice,réalisé pour non seulement éveiller les gens de Cork, mais éveiller l'intérêt dans le monde entier .

    L'exposition visuelle étonnante sera la plus audacieuse de sa sorte jamais entreprise en Irlande. RTÈ retransmettra l'événement en direct dans une des émissions extérieures les plus grandes et les plus complexes jamais entreprises en Irlande.

    Cork 2005 Carnival - Saturday 8th January 2005



    The Cork 2005 celebrations get under way in the city with an international street carnival.Twenty seven acts, comprising 180 performers from all over the world, will bring the streets to life with the sound of samba music and urban drum and base and the sight of fire eaters, circus acts and giant puppeteers. 



    With 10 individual carnival performance areas located throughout Patrick Street, Grand Parade and South Mall, the Cork 2005 Carnival will be a sight to behold.

       

    From MaSamba’s feathered carnival queens, to Buí Bolg’s Hillbilly Giants, to the Cork Community Circus firey dragons - acts from around Europe will be travelling to Cork to help young and old alike to celebrate Cork 2005. Click here to view the Carnival Acts

    The National Lottery Awakening Ceremony and Fireworks, is set to not only awaken the people of Cork but will awaken interest around the world as Cork 2005 officially begins. The amazing visual display will be the most daring of its kind ever undertaken in Ireland. RTÉ will broadcast the event live in one of the largest and most complex outside broadcasts ever undertaken in Ireland.
